PR people or some person from Sweden could contact him, if he would donate to Reactos. Or even like Mark Shuttleworth founded some Canonical Ltd. for Reactos. :D

It would be nice if he did donate some of the sales to ReactOS. 8-)

It seems he will be getting a lot of money. Even a small percentage of it being given to ReactOS would be a good thing. 8-)

It had lost it's luster for me a long time ago, people should move on to MineTest. In fact MineTest should be in rapps if it's not already, it's LGPL.

Minecraft has lost it's appeal but what is MineTest? Never heard of it.

I never heard of it either. I looked it up. MineTest.
http://www.minetest.net/
'Minetest is an infinite-world block sandbox game and a game engine, inspired by InfiniMiner, Minecraft and the like.'

http://wiki.minetest.com/wiki/Minetest_Wiki
'Minetest is Free and Open Source Software, released under the LGPL. It was done this way to be more readily available to Linux users, and so that random people.... '

It does seem interesting. :ugeek:

It has an API and Lua scripting so at least it has a non-hostile modding community.

Good point, and I agree.

That reminds me of Activision acquiring Doom. They wanted to strip out things like cheat codes and all, since they are totally anti-cheating, but thankfully they left it as Id Software intended it. And now, I understand the Doom 3 engine was released by the original developers as open source, though with disputed code removed. They had accidentally stepped on a Creative Labs patent, so at the time, Id settled with Creative. But when John Romero or whoever released the game engine as open source, he could not release the rendering code, but could not release it without such code, so he wrote some alternative code so it would build and execute properly. I don't know how the replacement code affects performance. It likely might not be as good, but it is free as in freedom.
