Re: Dooble web browser

i use Dooble browser for most of my tasks.. The current version(1.31) Has lot of bugs, i think that next version will be 1.35 or 1.4 since in trunk logs, it appears 1.35...

Maybe we should test Dooble in the most recent trunk of ROS when the Dooble team launches the new version... For now, it is unstable, but usable

I've never heard of Dooble and if it works on Windows 7 64-bit I should probably check it out.
Thank you for the suggestion.

Does anyone here has tried java apps? if they´re crashing or work unstable then it´s problem with Java
since Dooble uses Java and Qt

Java applets are not supported in Qt 4.8.2.

Version 1.31 has font support. Check out Windows->Settings->Display.
The next release resolves many issues and introduces some features too.

Try setting the Minimum Size in the Display panel.

A good deed never goes unpunished. ;)

That said, you really shouldn't install other peoples' browsers without their consent. If you're long enough in the IT-business (including helping out friends and family when they *know* you're in the IT business :x ), you'll discover that you have to subdue the itch to uninstall all those useless commercial no-good bloatware. People are habitual animals: they like what they're used to, even if it's crap. To change (educate) them takes time.

Well, i did´t explain very well, my Dad has it´s own PC, but this was not his own computer, we have in home a cumputer for all of us, so i wanted to try Dooble as if it was "the only browser available in our PC" but my Dad did´t liked it so he asked me to change back to the "other internet"

you mean 0.3.5?
ReactOS is still in alpha stage, meaning it is not feature-complete and is recommended only for evaluation and testing purposes.
