Re: Epic NTVDM

MugenFighter, you do a great job ! Continue, I like to read your test about the DOS Games ! Thanks, some people like to do certain things when they are bored... right now I like testing software for ReactOS, and DOS software actually tends to be smaller and relatively easy to come across, and a lot...

XROAR works...

The screenshot isn't good because I took it with VirtualBox and I think it uses a feature added by the VirtualBox's Guest Additions CD.

Re: Epic NTVDM

I'm not sure I understand the problem with the bat files. I guess what MugenFighter want to say is that if you execute a batch file instead of the program, the console window gets the cmd icon instead of the ntvdm icon, so it may look like it is not a DOS program but a program for Windows. My conce...

Re: Epic NTVDM

I will remind the rules of this thread, which are the same to my Epic Win thread: The sole purpose is to show programs that are able to run in ReactOS, either partially or completely . No technical details required when you add your working programs. Happy winning! :D Thanks... sorry I was in a hur...

Epic NTVDM

Some have suggested the creation of a topic like Epic Win, but for DOS/NTVDM apps to make room for Windows apps. I'm going to attempt to do it right here right now. Good tests for ReactOS. I think, for ReactOS Application Test Center. This may better than EPIC WIN thread. Mind explaining, I'm a bit ...

Will USB Devices Work With ReactOS?

I'm trying to understand is the problem with the USB support, is it just booting or is it that it is completely broken? I'm sorry I'm just a bit confused.

Mind explaining, I'm a bit confused. The only tests here followed the epic win rules. Maybe too much? Sorry if that is the case; I have a bunch a stress and this is a way I coupe.

Re: EPIC WIN!

Good testing and a good recommendation for all DOSsers out there that ReactOS could be their platform of choice. I think that is one advantage ReactOS has over Windows. Because many companies and even government agencies still use DOS, and ReactOS could (in time) be a reasonable upgrade while still...

Re: About showing pictures of hacked/illegal software

So if I understand right, under the DMCA any digital media with some soft of copy protection is protected, but what if it didn't use copy protection; for example, what if it was game that didn't have compiled data or DRM. Also would it still apply if I own the copyright to the thing, like for examp...

Re: EPIC WIN!

IDA Demo, IDA Pro Free, and Game Maker 8.0 Decompiler all work. Please note that I used software that I own the rights to for testing these three programs. Do not illegally use these programs. Edit: To clarify any software I decompiled or disassembled for testing the three programs, I made myself in...

Re: About showing pictures of hacked/illegal software

You are allowed to break copy protection only if you are the copyritht holder or the author. Authors giving out rights may do so for their personal use only. Not in any other circumstance nor by anyone else, unless this is explicitly allowed by copyright holder(as in GPLv3). Thanks, now I know what...
