Poll: New Tango Volume Icon
The current volume icon in the system tray IMO does not really fit with the rest of the icons. The current icon seems to have come from the Gnome icon set. Instead, I switched over to the Tango icon set. Which one would you all like to see used? I prefer Choice 2. Choice 1 (Current - Icon from Gnome...

Re: Graph of Death
Here is a filter I created for open bug tickets that need to be retested and closed if possible. We really need to get this green line higher. https://jira.reactos.org/issues/?filter=13312

I also agree. However, I still prefer icon 4.Swyter wrote:I don't think that second icon meets the quality guidelines. I'd iterate over the idea and give it at least two more passes. The icon right now just feels out of place between the other items of the Tango set.

Re: Poll to choose exe files icon
I agree. 1-3 don't even look like they are from the Tango icon theme. 5 is better for an MDI app.fLuXx wrote:The ones with gears remind me too much of .bat file icons, so that's not what I would choose. I actually like no. 4.

Definitely prefer the old one. The new one is too plain while the older one is much more intricate.

Even better image:

I have XP's shell32 in the same folder which only uses the icons for the start menu. Also, by turning on Report as Workstation, we see the proper bitmap get used.

Re: EPIC WIN!
Just going to leave this here: http://rghost.net/78HHGs6TN/image.png Yes. It is the XP explorer in ReactOS. Just modified ntoskrnl not to enter the debugger when using the stub WmiSetMark and replaced our shlwapi with XP's. And then it starts but has issues. The debug log is filled with shell32 stub...

It's most likely due to all the bluescreens.Z98 wrote:In these kinds of situations, the better long term approach is to determine how the registry got corrupted in the first place since it is indicative of what I would consider a pretty serious bug.

Re: EPIC WIN!
Not sure if this fits the purpose if this topic. Sorry if it doesn't.
This is XP's comdlg32 in ReactOS. I remeber a few months ago this errored out with most apps and semi-worked with the Run dialog. But now it works nearly perfect!

Re: Start Menù button icon
.................... The icon you want to use looks: a) old and b) blurry. Comparing to the new one,the newer one looks much nicer and newer. With this icon, ReactOS looks far more modern especially with the new icons I've done. The community edition is the one that is to have the modern look, the ...

Re: 0.4.0 release branch!
I have no plan of ROS, but I have a strong feeling in my stomage.... 0.4.0 won't come this year (what a pity !), but the chance is very high, that - at the latest - under the christmas tree 2016 (!) there will be ROS 0.4 ! It's no use, only to glue a "sticker" 0.4 on a not mature version ...
