That suggestion again brings back Windows into the equation. I believe the objective is to make it so that the end user is completely independent of Windows. This would mean a driver that doesn't depend on things from Windows if they wanted to achieve total independence. On the other hand, if ReactO...

Since ReactOS is targeted to Windows users, the majority of them will have NTFS harddrives. And since the objective is to ease any such transition, then it's somewhat naive to believe that they're willing to sit through a reformating of all their HDs just because ReactOS doesn't have NTFS support. T...

Still not working. The command prompt stays stuck in C:\ and I can't get into D:\ at all. When I type in D:\, it gives me a bad command or file name error. When I type in just D:, it responsds with a D:\ before jumping right back to C:\. And when I use cd with whatever address, it just jumps back to...

Not working. I typed in cd *DRIVELETTER*:\drivers\nic etc and such. however, it constantly told me ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND. Also, the system hangs at random times, but I'm willing to attribute it to the fact that this is a SVN version I'm running. I may wait until 0.3 stable is out, but this test is ta...

Swap partitions
In order to install a swap partition, do I need to use a separate HD partitioner? Reading through the wiki leads me to believe that ReactOS' installer can't do it and the operating system itself does not create a swap space for itself like Windows does.

ReactOS Install hangs at the end
I finish installing ReactOS and get to the point where the computer tells me to hit enter to reboot. I walk away with the system at the point of flushing cache or whatever. However, after I come back in about an hour or so, it's still stuck there. The machine used was a 500MHz PIII Around 384 MB of ...

Hardware compatibility
Is there any list regarding hardware compatibility? Some kind of compiled list like with applications?
