I think calling it an engine would be too much. It's just the basic structure that is (more or less) the same in all my games. (input, game loop, etc.)

however, with a little bit of effort it can do pretty much anything... :D

Kein Problem! :)

Das Ganze dauert also tatsächlich schon ne ganze We...

Customizing builds...

Hi there! I have an idea for the ReactOS-Wiki. Why not add a new page (under Miscellaneous) with mini-tutorials on how customize your ReactOS build. I suggest tutorials on things like... - how to add your programs to the ISO - how to create your own desktop/start menu shortcuts - how to set a defaul...

(just as I thought. I'm not the only one who likes colourful screenshots) http://www.romanhoegg.ch/Games.zip The file contains the three games & their sources. All are done with Dev-C. To compile them you will need to download the SDL pack for Dev-C. But be warned: All games are (just as ...

That might be a font problem. But that's just a guess. BTW: I've found the Linux "keymaps" through the "Linux from Scratch" project. Have not quite figured out how the Linux files are structured but it seems they could be useful. They can be downloaded from: ftp://ftp.planetmirro...

good luck in creating the keyboard layout. From personal experience I can tell you that the usability of ReactOS increases tremendously if you have a keyboard layout that fits your own language. Another question: Does anybody know a place where the sources for keyboard layouts for GNU/Linux, BSD or ...

about the second question: to test you files you need a working build environment. These links should be helpful: http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/Build_Environment http://www.reactos.org/wiki/index.php/HOWTO/create_a_keyboard_layout about the first question: yes, they need to be changed to gre...

$100 Laptop reveiled

I only put this thread into trash since it's quite off-topic. However, since ReactOS might once be running on one of these little machines I thought it might be of interest.

I personally have no problem with using the command prompt. But it would surely be nice if drag'n'drop copying of files would work. Is there a roadmap on when we can expect it to be implemented?

thanks!

Problem solved! It wasn't a cookie problem. I had to add the languages. (in a German TB it's "Extras" - "Einstellungen..." - "Allgemein" - "Sprachen" an there I deleted the first entry and added Deutch [de] and English [en]) strange... I never had to do that f...
