...or

you could spend the time on making ReactOS usable instead. Then the popularity WILL increase.

BSD license

The BSD license without the advertising clause is GPL-compatible. The one with the advertising clause is not.
mf wrote:Well, since BSD is more lax than GPL, it's GPL-compatible. So you should be fine with that.

NTFS support in freeldr

Your active partition is probably NTFS. It would require NTFS read support in freeldr to boot ReactOS in this case.

New website

The new website will be much simpler than the old one. It will mainly be a wiki.

Impossible

That's impossible since the contributors have their own individual goals (which may be volatile) and work towards them at their own pace.

How?

What is wrong with the Windows scheduler and how can we improve it? Also, which version of Windows are you referring to? Not all Windows schedulers are the same.

Slow?

I don't consider a 10% slowdown running Quake2 compared to native Quake2 a big disadvantage. The advantages of .NET far outweigh its disadvantages for most applications.

In 2006, I plan to integrate Mono into ReactOS as well as .NET is integrated into Windows.

486 needed

ReactOS needs at least a 486 due to its use of atomic exchange instructions.
