There is no need to clone XP themes, just copy over Luna.msstyle file from your genuine Windows XP installation into the same folder in ReactOS.
If you someone can do original .msstyles to ReactOS, he or she should do them and let us know about...

It would have been good if they'd contributed to ReactOS's development.
Any contact form, email, twitter, or something?
At least these programmers should know about ReactOS, even if they won´t or can´t help. As I see, there is nothing to loose trying to contact them.

CERN has a fleet of programmers, that can also contribute to ReactOS.
Are they aware of ReactOS?
If not someone should advice them...

For example, ProtonMail is a private encrypted email service from CERN help, it could be so useful to have their help to ReactOS development.

Re: I finally figured out how to make Win7 not suck; might be ready to say goodbye to XP

When ReactOS will be in beta stage with enough advanced Windows XP and some Windows 7 features, I hope that the dream finally comes true: ReactOS be ready to replace MS Windows XP once for all.

Re: Just re-built my 17 year old computer... how to start ReactOS testing?

As far as I am aware, NTFS is read only, there is no write for it yet in ReactOS. It seems that thanks to Trevor Thompson´s work , some write support exists in ROS. Before you build ReactOS, you must enable NTFS write-support if you want to test it. This is because write-support is still experiment...

I have an hard drive partitioned Btrfs for partition C: and Ext4 for partition D:
Is ReactOS installed on your hard drive (BtrFS partition) toguether with ext4 partition?
I had problems booting ReactOS when an ext2/3/4 partition exists in dual boot.

Re: Just re-built my 17 year old computer... how to start ReactOS testing?

I think FAT32 is the better choice since its also supported by Windows. I can even exchange small system files using an old Win 98 1.44 MB floppy boot disk... That's the fastest way to boot into something like an OS on that machine. Using Linux for btrfs would take a longer time since I had to use ...

Re: Just re-built my 17 year old computer... how to start ReactOS testing?

some binary hardware drivers from the manufacturers are stored. It is also a test if ROS leaves these driver files untouched... Don´t forget to back up these drivers before doing anything! And upload them into your Google Drive /Onedrive , Telegram,... I hope that there will be Open Source drivers ...

Re: Just re-built my 17 year old computer... how to start ReactOS testing?

...and here are my first results: Before testing, I have deleted all partitions and formatted both HDDs using an old Win 98 boot floppy with fdisk and format.com. So I got an empty 60GB drive C: and an empty 10GB drive D: with FAT32 as file system. Image file: ReactOS 0.4.10 + new USB from vgal.ru....

Re: Dear developers

Dear developers, Thank you for only giving me a temporary ban. I would like to discuss guidelines on pms, as part of my ban was for pm bombing. The reason why I sent more than one was because I never got a response for a long amount of time. I understand that you all are busy, but I still feel it's...

Re: Switching the target to the NT 6.x kernel might save R&D time in the long run

It may be merely an English translation issue. Quim may not understand the nuance that his "we expect" comments give. Note to Quim - replace the word 'expect' with 'hope', ie. "we hope that in the year of Windows 7...NT 5.2 kernel will be almost complete" - this way it feels less like you are order...
