I am creating a multiple GPU, six GPU's rack and I was wondering if ReactOS could be used as the operating system ?
No, OpenGL acceleration does not work with real hardware GPUs. Also, any recent NVidia driver would most likely fail to work anyways.

Re: Trying to install ReactOS in Virtual Box

To check how things are working and running i want to install ReactOS (Latest version) in a Virtual Box environment. However, after setting language and keyboard layout correct (Dutch language/US International keyboard layout) i ran into a small problem. I get the error message: Userinit failed to ...

How to install ReactOS from RAM disk (useful for modern hardware testing)

This method allows ReactOS installation through entirely unsupported interfaces (eg. USB ports wired to xHCI controllers), which means you can (in theory) install ReactOS even on most recent notebook, as long as you have a SATA drive in it. I hope some of you will find it helpful. The Wiki page: htt...

Partial Epic Win He9IkDa.png The font is broken and it's impossible to import any files, although it's still possible to actually do something with bundled assets, also it works relatively stable (no crashes or freezes). Requires wmvcore.dll, atmlib.dll and msdmo.dll files from Server 2003, Mesa3D l...

Re: EPIC WIN!

Good one Illen! Thank you :) ThrottleStop 8.70.2 on ReactOS, appears to be mostly functional, the CPU settings and voltage control are all working fine. https://i.imgur.com/wVWHnB5.png Detects only one core because ReactOS doesn't really support SMP (Multiprocessing). Tested on ReactOS 0.4.12 dev b...

Re: ReactOS freezing during copying files

CD is perfectly fine in VMware 15 Player, SSD is known to be good as I had a Windows 10, Lubuntu, and Windows 7 triple boot on it a while ago. I assume you have tested that CD in a VM from the same optical drive, is that correct? Because to me, it sounds like a faulty optical drive or a CD/DVD itse...

Re: Black screen after driver loaded

Motherboard:ASUS B250M-A motherboard Don't bother trying then, apparently, UniATA (the storage controller driver that ReactOS uses) has issues with AHCI controllers found in Skylake+ chipsets (tested on multiple Skylake+ machines, looks similar to CORE-14230 ). Intel has removed the IDE emulation o...

You can answer your own questions. Use the search box at the top of these forum windows... If I could find any recent and satisfying info regarding this thread subject, I wouldn't create it. Most of these threads are about booting the Live image or are old. I didn't find anyone having the similar i...

Boot ReactOS from RamDisk with HDD image

Is it possible to boot the actual ReactOS installation (with write access to the boot volume) from RamDisk? Live image is read-only, which limits me severely from doing anything. I have two modern machines, where USB boot (with VGal's build) or even CD boot (due to the AHCI controller unsupported by...

Re: EPIC WIN!

Heh cool :D Now, can you test *Microsoft* Virtual PC 2004, or 2007, in ReactOS? (they should be available somewhere for download.) Already tried these, couldn't get them working. They are complaining about missing MSXML 4/6, even though I have it already installed. I will report all the Virtual PC ...
