Re: About showing pictures of hacked/illegal software

The confusion comes from information floating around about the 1970's copyright laws. The DMCA made the restrictions stronger. Based on the older laws, you could translate any literary or electronic work to any format you needed, whatsoever. The only restriction was that you could only use ONE copy...

Re: About showing pictures of hacked/illegal software

As I stated previously, I don't care about the picture. What I do care about is the insinuation by the originator of the post about the means he took to get the ROM. Contrary to his belief, possession of the original cartridge does not grant him the 'right' to go download a ROM. The only 'right' co...

Re: EPIC WIN!

Nesticle (didn't name it) works. (pic) It would work before, but I couldn't get to find/load any roms. Hi! Are the two black columns at the left and right of the game expected? (I ask just to know whether it's a NTVDM graphical glitch or if it's perfectly normal). I think it is. My guess is it was ...

Re: Deleting Website Account

Sec, I will not let the discussion end that way. Please be patient... Sorry, I think I was upset over a somethings that happened on the site and I was reacting irrationally. I have a lot of things happening in my life right now and these were just the straw that broke the camels back. Please try to...

Deleting Website Account

Is there a way to delete my website account. I'm over ReactOS and I want nothing to do with it. I lost my respect for you people.

Re: EPIC WIN!

So your claim is that the original DS cartridge that you dumped this from did not possess DRM that you circumvented in order to do a ROM dump? And if you claim that you didn't personally do the ROM dump, you're opening a whole other can of worms due to the ambiguity in fair use provisions. A can th...

Re: EPIC WIN!

My understanding of what MugenFighter said is that he's showing off a romhack/mod he is making for Ben 10, if he owns a physical copy we don't know, but romhacking is more of a grey area. If he was asking for money for it or distributing it with the ROM (as opposed to a patch to apply to the origin...

Re: GAMECOM Emulator Error

Please share what the problem was. Tell us what you think you did wrong, the name of the unimplemented file, and the JIRA issue(s) that helped you find your answer. The next person who searches these forums for information about GAMECOM on ReactOS will appreciate it. Right sorry, here's the actual ...

Re: How is ReactOS Going to Stay Relevant?

The only potential problem I see in this beautiful picture concerns the games that needs high requirements related to Direct-X , since we don't have any serious directX support in ROS and nobody only dedicated to that is going to work on it soon so far. Will that be fixed by version 1.0? We don't h...

Thanks for that, I think I found the problem. I thought I may have did something wrong, but it seems it is just an unimplemented file. Sorry about that. Jira is very useful.

GAMECOM Emulator Error

I'm trying to test a GAMECOM emulator, it is made to work on older Windows computers (from late 90s), but I keep getting this error message when opening the application. http://orig03.deviantart.net/9dfd/f/2015/321/e/d/reactos_gamecom_error_by_mugenfighter-d9h06n7.png Any clue why I'm getting it or ...
