What about the drivers? that would mean that the portable ReactOS should have, at least, drivers for the most used SATA controllers and NET adapters integrated.
There is a good project that does this into a MS Win installation CD, so portable ReactOS could get help from that.

Some of the software on your list won't run on ROS 0.27, also, there are some sites with and updated list of working software/drivers, you should look those first and see what is going on, and after that, try to run those programs that on earlier versions did start up, but still does not works well.

I think installing this OS in a near (or not so near) future via floppy can't be something viable, but instead, it could be done with a network installer.

I know also that ROS is not mature enough to acomplish this, but I hope that will be implemented. Am I right? Is this planned?

Posible Patents-Legality problem (Borland,GCC,SEH)

I found this article about the GCC compiler ability to work with Structured Exception Handling, that seems to be needed by WINE: Borland's claim over exception handling is hampering the open source project's work . "Concerns about the Borland patent have prevented developers on the GCC project from ...

There are reasons to a lot of people to use ROS in the future. Obviously you have not everybody included in your post, at least I'm not in any of your examples. If you want contribute, if not don't waste your time. Nice, hostile, post with no arguments, just denial. That's the way to do it. This is...

I voted for not to release new versions until web page does have information about it. That's because I use RSS, and when I see a new version I download it, and also write about ReactOS on some forums. Those people at forums go through the links, and see at reactos web page that nothing about new ve...

This project started years ago, since then coders have taken to us this 0.3 wonderful alpha version. I don't expect fastest developement in some months, maybe after 0.3 or 0.4, when more developers get interested in this project. Now I see a good potential in it, and I hope with 0.3/0.4, we'll see a...

Support for several VideoCards at the same time

Hi, I just was wondering if it is posible to make ReactOS be able to use more than one video card installed on a computer. I mean, the machine (BIOS for example) can only use one video card, but could Reactos use more than one? For example, for multiple monitors/logged users, or multiple monitors fo...
