So since there is not an actual end product with ReactOS alone, what reward is there to offer backers? The fuzzy feeling of knowing they helped support ReactOS? I would say yes! Err, "almost" everyone loves games, but not all (personally, I think using an OS just for playing games is a huge misusing).
