Different platforms.

This is an area that interests me a lot and I am happy to be able to say that the XBox port is actually working almost as good as the branch however it lacks the USB support which is the only input method for XBox and that cripples the XBox to a vegitable, you can just start the OS not do anything w...

The smallest ReactOS computer so far.

I have just bought a OQO 01+ and I just had to try ReactOS on it. I just say Yummie! It is a good alternative to the OLPC http://teknoskand.dyndns.org/reactos/images/OQO%20ReactOS%2002_tn.jpg Click the image for a bigger view. Now we only need some stability, compatibility and TabletPC extentions. :D

Follow the SVN

@GreatLord No worries sir, thanks for the reply, take your time to fix what is needed for 0.3.1, just ask it because I'm too excited, and can't wait for this release. Good Luck! One of the best ways to chill down the excitement is to follow what happens on the SVN, there you can get a glimpse of wh...

10 years, we need speed...

With the reassurances from developers that donations will speed development, I hope others can at least match the $5 donation I made a while back. On the subject of coding without reverse engineering, what possibilities are there for me in this project? nute, I'm glad your'e getting what we are try...

reallity check!

nute, you have a really nutty way of seeing things, off cource we have to promote an os that isn't done/ready yet, else it would speak for it self. we need resources because we don't have much our selfs. Of cource we run propriarity software we are proude of it, that's the point, don't you get it? W...

OLPC vs OQO

Well, I think OLPC is a really nice thing, but for my needs I think an OQO is more realistic ( http://www.oqo.com ). But if we had ROS installed by defaul I would definately buy one, not for use but for testing.

Why would I need to use Qemu or VMware? I also don't know what they do? Or how to use them, i'm a newbie to linux this year. If the base is not linux, what is the core? Is it a kernel? Is it DOS? I'm not a programmer, I was just wondering whats under the hood? It's fast, as I can feel the speed, bu...

Try QEmu or VMWare then.

Well, it might be a hardware problem with either of your hardwares in your computer, I would like to advice you to try it from either QEmu or VMWare. To see if it works and then go from there.

USB does not work...

Lusky wrote:This is the first OS I have benn able to boot. I am not very computer savy and figured I'd give it a run by myself to learn more. And Yes I am using a Wired USB keyboard.
USB does not work, try a ps/2 keyboard instead, and disconnect all periferals that are connected to the usb ports and try again.

USB-Keyboard?

This should work, do you have a USB-Keyboard?

But even if you have it should work during CD-Boot, so it's possibly a CD-error.
