An easy way...

The easiest way I know of is to dualboot with w2k. Start with installing w2k, install all hardware drivers that you like. Install ReactOS without formatting your HD, your system will now dualboot. Boot into W2k copy all files in c:\windows\system32\drivers to c:\reactos\system32\drivers NOT overwrit...

Nope, not yet, if you don't have a bridge solution where bridge handles the connection. Like one for Sony PlayStation 2.

$100 Laptop project would be an excellent partner to work with I think. It would help us to get more momentum to ReactOS, with come semi-commersial interests behind some parts of the development could free up some of the developers to work full-time for ReactOS and even to get some new ones attached...

I installed it and I'm compiling the sources right now. This really is quite handy. Idea for an additional feature: It would be cool to know how long it took to compile. BTW: I think the green looks cool. Well, I will soon add a new step-by-step installation information which will help all new buil...

Well I have need of fully function Autodesk CAD software support like AutoCAD and Inventor, but they are pretty heavy, not even the installation app works yet. Re: language of newdev.dll

I have experienced that although I set ROS' language to German on 2nd stage setup, the hadware installation dialog (from newdev.dll) is still in english. This is probably because it's called from the system not the current user. So on 2nd stage setup the language should be set for default user. In ...

Re: React OS - nlite?

Just curious - since React OS is supposed to be a Win XP clone, is it structured modularly like XP, so that by using a product line Nlite, could React OS be stripped down and turned into an Embedded OS for use in various dedicated devices (CarPC, arcade games, home automation, etc....?) Also, what ...

The first thing that occurs to me is that you might have debugging set to com1, and in that case you might need to direct it to screen before com1 will work.
