He is right, there is no need to add extra API, actually adding the DLL's to vista would cause them to run as well

We do have the the source code for bochs, it really wouldn't be much problem to make a wine wrapper to run inside of it.

Much more practical to run the os natively on the system, and then have the applications run on top of bochs, that way the OS isn't bogging down the emulator and systems calls along with a browser can run natively while saving support for win32 apps to run on the emulator side.

I'm glad at the intrest in this subject.

I'm not sure how well the wine compatablity layer would function though on a MIPs CPU. Anyone wish to share their thoughts on this subject?

For example the is a JVM that was meant to run on a nokia that was natively port to the psp's arm cpu. The point of the matter is the cpu is 32bit based, and on...

Try using the explore from windows 95 or NT.

If that doesnt work there are many third party explorer replacements that dont require extra API

The real problem is that we have lost support for real hardware with the latest release. The only way to see it games work is to use parlles in OS-X and then the app must only be DX-8 or earlier.

Virtual box wont give you the 3d you need to test games.

I am in no way being a fanboy to firefox. Lets do a simple test. Find as much porn as you can in IE 6/7 and run ad-aware and see what you come up with. Do the same now for Firefox / Opera Which one will you have more spyware after? That is my deduction, IE deserves to be flamed sorry MS fanboys. (FF...
