:? O keep going I knew you two would go at it sometime. Honestly though Wine's kicking us in the ass, they are making several additions and bug checks that are sure to prove successful in crushing us. My goal was to see a replacement of windows, it seems that Ros is doomed to become nothing more tha...

:x What’s with you telling me that Ros is better than windows. Did I at any point suggest installing Windows. The AEEE comes with a very efficient version of Linux built just for the device. Its faster than any other OS you could install. Also what’s the point of installing Ros on a pc which require...

Thanks for clearing it up GL thats deffenitly something to look foward to. Axcelartaion would be a wonderful adition as well. DX is ment to be a go between for the OS and software. Its understandable that there would be a few issues in a non-native eviroment since its built to work with the os direc...

Like I said just add wine!

I like reactOS but i dont see it as being a liable OS for a subnote book in its current state. Wine is a much better choice at the moment.

:? Why is it that no one has yet though to add support for native win directX instalation. Its a good solution and would allow the games to run untill ReactX is completed. MS cant sue you for having an OS compatable with DX they can only sue you for installing it or bundeling it. It would be up to t...

:( No former commercial developer who signed papers!
I've been asked by the team to limit myself to suggesting advice rather than coding for the project.

Seeing as it's being created from the ground up, its going to be nearly as labor intenive as the coding of the rest of the os. Its to bad I'm not being allowed to assist in the project. :(

ReactOS has a strong following given the scope of what we are trying to do, and how young the project is. Everyone in the wine comunity knows who we are, as well as most of the linux community. If you wish to make a Tan then do so and we will vote on it. It's not as big a deal as your making it.
