Re: Wallpapers for ReactOs

Thanks for your comments guys :) It's a pity they weren't in time for the wallpaper-vote, but maybe for the next release... maybe in another release version can include some the this wallpapers with public domain license ;) https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Protoplanetary_disk.jpg https://upl...

Re: Wallpapers for ReactOs

Thanks for your comments guys :) Yep, pretty cool. I especially like the first, 5th and last one (at least, concerning the background). It's a pity they weren't in time for the wallpaper-vote, but maybe for the next release... Or for the 0.4 CRE. I think, for the 0.4, vic had the plan of making a w...

Re: ReactOS on eBox and embedded systems

I hope to test 0.3.17 soon. The equipment I'm working on might be similar to the Intel Galileo and Edison products? I searched the forum but didn't find many messages about using ReactOS on those Intel boards. Maybe I missed something? I don't think there has been done extensive testing on all thos...

Re: Blog: Dislocated localizations

https://www.reactos.org/node/923 Interesting read as always. It does show, though, that it wouldn't be a bad idea if some system were set up where people communicate/check extra and beforehand what changes have been made, and what will happen to them. I think a lot, or at least some, regressions ar...

Re: About ReactOS 0.4

we *still* have to make clear it's alpha and not usable for everyday use, but most people will have the right kind of expectations that way. Heh, I'd wish it to be that way; common people usually don't pay enough attention to warnings. But I agree that the shell merge is without a doubt one of the ...

Re: About ReactOS 0.4

Seriously, its a release number. Everyone acts like releasing a v0.4 will some how make ROS instantly better, and fix all bugs. Changing the version number without first implementing a wide range of improvements and bug fixes will result in nothing more than frustration from people expecting it to ...

My stomage-feelings says that at the latest at the end of 2015 - as a christmas present - 0.4 will be out !

And a lot of more people are first hearing from ROS !

Re: RAPPS, What is it for?

See my thread about the Reactos Application Manager, which I guess is the same thing as RAPPS. I want to help expand/fill in missing catagories by testing open source apps to see what works. https://www.reactos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13816 First of all..well, no second of all... First of all...

While we are talking about treatment... I will not continue to argue with your carved in stone standpoint. Not anymore, as Z98 already said, we don't care anymore, because it's worthless. But one thing is not being ignored... thread hijacking to flame again and again aggainst OUR carved in stone st...

Re: To register as Vendor

I like now you ignore the "If a user is determined to buy something, nothing we do will stop them. They are perfectly free to go and pay a member of the community to go burn them a CD and mail it to them. What need is there to involve the project?" This applies as much to a third party vendor as it...
