Re: Virtualbox 3.0.0

I was never able to setup debugging right in Ubuntu with Virtualbox, because lack of forum users that knew how. Not true. 1. Configure virtual COM1 port, redirect it to a socket. The command looks like this: VBoxManage modifyvm vm1 --uart1 0x3f8 4 --uartmode1 client /tmp/com1 where vm1 should be th...

Application Manager: How does it work?

How does Application Manager work on the back end? How are programs added, how does it handle updates, how do the programs actually get installed, and so forth?

Trunk r54012. I hope they don't do another release until they can get explorer a little more stable, and at least make sure that a few basic programs (Firefox, LibreOffice - your basic internet and office suite) can install and mostly run without locking up the system or causing a BSOD. I've been te...

Long list: Which of these are bugs, which ones aren't?

ReactOS explorer ================ -Up, Forward, Back, home, refresh, search, stop buttons don't work -No hover tooltips on buttons -Single Document Interface doesn'...

Re: Found a web server compatible with ReactOS

Well now I feel stupid. Guess I thought everything on the list was also in the compatibility database.

Not sure when it was fixed, but I was able to access web pages on the server just fine.

Found a web server compatible with ReactOS

Abyss Web Server http://www.reactos.org/compat/?show=version&id=1308

Wasn't in the database before, but it works 100% as far as I can tell. I'll test PHP soon.

Re: Read this if you've found software useful to ReactOS

FolderSize. GPL, C++. It adds a new column to Windows Explorer that shows the size of a folder. http://foldersize.sourceforge.net/ However, install stops with an error. It does somewhat install (you can see the icon on the control panel, and start the service from there), but you can't currently cho...

Re: Compatibility DB - feedback

I would request that there be an option to show all apps by date of last report - so it would be easy to find apps that haven't been tested in a long time. Also, if you could show the date of last report in the regular list views, as well as the latest AND last version (of the app) tested. Also also...

Re: [NewIdea]A new way to push ReactOS Development [NewIdea]

Marat Karatov told the Russian President the project could be completed with about 1 million euros . I'm visualising a donation/fundraising campaign that takes the total amount needed and splits it into individual projects. Display could be similar to Donors Choose , where donors choose which projec...
