Re: What Windows application softwares can work in ReactOS?

Unless an open source driver for Windows can be found, TRIM may need to written from scratch for ReactOS.

Re: What do we expect from ROS?

Would you erase MS WIndows preinstalled on your new PC and install ROS? If ReactOS comes stable enough, yes. I would replace it for Windows. I won't touch 8 with a stick unless it came pre-installed. Do you expect ROS to be faster, more reliable, more secure than MS Windows? ReactOS' NT kernel is m...

Re: Aston shell 1.9.6: working but buggy

Luna is part of the native shell. Theming support on that will likely progress with explorer-new development rebooted.

Re: Extra Large icon support

There's a chance the ReactOS team may include large icon support in the next upstream download of the Wine codebase.

Shouldn't roadmap for 0.4 on the Wiki be rewritten then? Or at least be notification of how out-of-date it is.

Re: When will 0.3.15 release?

Judging by the present status of the daily builds, and thread on build 58487, weather or not we'll get 0.3.15 or 0.4 remains blurry. As many of the developers have said, it's best to follow the commits. Since 0.3.14, a lot of progress has been made. That's all anyone can say, at the moment.

Re: release 0.3.15

I did a minor fix to that wiki entry. Changed it to the date that was given to TBA for when it is finally released, along with a reference to the last 0.3.15 thread. Do look forward to the release, though.

But the kernels are completely different, more so then trying use technique with BSD. It's like trying to stick a car engine in a locomotive.
