Win API tutorials

I'm not sure where to put this pr if it's been asked before (search didn't help), so forgive me. Anyway, I finally found the book I wanted/needed per-se to learn C, and it's been enjoyable. Actually learning stuff. This brings me to my multimillion dollar question ... Does anyone know any good Win A...

Re: Can you fix the Blue Screen Of Death??/

At this stage, BSODs are to be expected. They'll always be there, like kernel panics, but will probably come down as bug reports continue to come in.

Re: EPIC WIN!

Speaking of browsers, Firefox 22 on ReactOS r59616 was able to play a HTML5 video pretty smoothly on just 256MB of RAM from Virtualbox.

Re: Opening a ReactOS U.S based branch?

Considering the US's present state, I don't think it'll be worth it.

Re: What about your roadmap?

From what I heard, the roadmap is largly outdated and doesn't yet reflect the present goals that'll lead to new 0.4.x.

Re: ReactOS, Sourceforge's June 2013 Project of the Month

I wonder if the updates will be provided from the application manager. Since the system seems to be modular as all hell.

Well, I'm willing to find out. Just have no idea how to get the application off of ReactOS and onto Windows from VBox.

Re: Developers: make ROS your playground

Also, a number of old bugs have likely already been fixed just by rewrites/improvements and we just haven't figured out which ones yet. In that case, those who committed the bugs should test them, and if all who complained are happy, then mark them resolved. One other comment is that sometimes fixi...

Re: Webkit

I think the switch to WebKit would be a wise choice since the defualt broswer seems to have a very outdated and slow engine. There is also Google's Blink, a fork of Webkit, which plans on omitting prefixes.

Re: Is a Reactos and Windows DLL mix possible ?

Theoretically speaking, yes. Since applications built on Winndows make use have DLLs that were designed for it in work on ReactOS, it would make sense for the systems' own DLLs to work on ReactOS' since ReactOS' can work on Windows. Hell, you can even replace the shell.

"NT-neutral" application

Since ReactOS is maturing quite well, I've come up with a term to define applications that can work on both ReactOS and Windows, known as "NT-neutral." I've no idea if such term has been defined under a different name before but it makes sense if an application works on both systems, which is what m...
