Re: my two cents

the default cursor is a really tacky place to put a logo, even one as cool as the ros logo. fun novelty, but not by default. also default cursor shouldnt be animated :| at least i really hope it won't be. funny, i didn't think it mattered until i read this thread. I think the ReactOS logo cursor wa...

Quake III needs OpenGL, so there's no point in this discussion. ReactOS MUST include OpenGL Support :o)

Linux has even more NTFS support now!

Yesterday, a new Linux Kernel has been released with an improved version of the NTFS driver. You can now overwrite files also if you change the file's size (before, you could edit files but only if you didn't change the size). Though you still can't delete or create new files :(. Anyway, it's a step...

I don't know about miniapache, but the normal version of apache doesn't have to be started as a service.

You don't have to pay for VMware Player. I don't think Qemu is usable without kqemu anyway...

Microsoft chose the colour very well. Blue is said to have a calmative effect on humans, and think that this is just what people need after a kernel crash :D

Re: Does it bring anything new?

Does ReactOS bring anything new or is it only a clone? How about better command prompt (more powerful) than windows have? The main point in the ReactOS project is to make a free (free as in free speech, not as in free beer) copy of windows. The point is that everybody can change everything as he or...

i assumed trolling was the sort of thing i'd know if i was doing? Your assumption seems to be wrong ´-.-` not on my machine. i would be amazed if one thing i run uses it. oh, trillian does, but i don't run trillian. The ReactOS Homepage would break, it's written in XHTML (eg. the XML Version of HTM...

There's no point. Apache has already been ported to windows, so sooner or later it'll run on top of ReactOS (if it doesn't already)

with MS even pictures can get virii :( With Linux, even text files can contain viruses Come on, this troll stuff is soooo childish...we're not on /. here.
