Re: About automatic build
Or do you know how the batch file enters commands into RosBE? If anyone knows it, I would appreciate it if you could tell me. I may be showing myself to be an idiot here, but I will attempt to answer you. I have very limited understanding of code, but I would suggest that you look at the scripts in...

Re: HW Test: Dell Vostro 1000
Please state what version of ReactOS you are testing with and the version number of the software tested. This information could help others.
Also, if you get something working that has not been reported before, then please post images and details in the EPIC WIN thread.

Re: Unable to install on real hardware (hardware details in post)
I think that your problem may be with the SSD.
I have 2 suggestions:
1. put an ordinary hard drive into one of your computers and try again.
2. buy a much older computer; one about 10 or more years old, that would have run Windows XP.

Re: VirtualBox 4.0.8 on ReactOS 0.4.13
I have experienced the blank inputs, years ago. And since then, when ever I have tested (not very frequent), there was never any change.karlexceed wrote: ↑Thu Apr 23, 2020 3:55 pmWhen creating a new VM, the dropdown area to select the OS template is blank.

Re: Boot order
Thanks, but I do not know c or c++. I was looking for the text that is displayed above the bar in the lower screen when ReactOS is booting. I have found these: Loading system hive... Loading boot drivers... and Loading NT... (I have not seen this displayed). I did not find anything for ntoskrnl.exe ...

Boot order
I would like to know the boot order for ReactOS.
In which order does the hal, ntoskrnl and etc. load?
Is there some where in the source code that I can easily find what gets loaded and in what order.
Thanks for any help.

Re: unable to install drivers with snappy driver installer.
I assume you are referring to the latest release build of ReactOS (0.4.13). You need drivers for Windows XP/2003. I have no experience with snappy driver installer , so I cannot help with that. But please note that, the correct drivers may not even install, if they do install, they may make the syst...

Useful implementation
There are now two things which have been implemented in ReactOS, that I find very useful. 1. A right click menu to be able to open a Command Prompt window in that folder, but I wish you could also do that within the folder (right click on a folder and you will see a Command Prompt here in the menu)....

Re: How to enable Chinese display?
1. You could boot up in Log File mode (the log file is created in C:\reactos) and make a Jira issue (bug report) for it.
2. Ask questions in Mattermost.

Re: Guide/Reference to Directories in Source Code
You need to clone the source code to your hard drive, then explore all the directories to see what is in each. That is the way you will learn what is stored in what directory. Then if you need to ask questions, then ask them in Mattermost.
