Re: New disc geometry installations

Post by hto » 02 Dec 2011 17:34 Try to repartition the disk with DOS fdisk. Does the format in the Ros installer actually format the disc? Yes. I have no real problems, I will just do a dos format every time I want to install a new revision. I don't think that I made myself very clear in the post a...

New disc geometry installations

bootcd-54536-dbgwin When I install Ros, I usually use a dos format before installing, but I have also installed over an earlier version without any formatting and used the Ros installation format, but I have found that with the new disc geometry, Ros hangs at loading FreeLoader, when the later two m...

Alt-Ctrl-Delete gives a bsod (bootcd-54536-dbgwin)

bootcd-54536-dbgwin (in real hardware as always). Pressing Alt-Ctrl-Delete opens the taskmanager briefly, then Bsod's. The bsod is to do with win32k.sys. This happens on two different computers. The log file below was obtained by starting in logfile mode, then when the driver install windows appear,...

Re: Dead mouse

Having posted, I looked again. I have set "disabled usb mouse support" to disabled in the bios and it worked.
This is the first time I have had this problem with any of my computers. Should have looked into the bios before posting!

Dead mouse

bootcd-r54536-dbgwin I have tested the above revision (along with several back revisions) and I have found that the mouse will not respond. The mouse is an older ps2 type, which works ok in linux (livecd) on this computer. I have also tried a usb mouse with a ps2 adapter and still get no responce. I...

Re: Hi, presentation Again.

jorge1987 I discovered the ReactOS project in 2005, when I was just 17 years, and was in high school. At that time I was studying programming in Pascal (I love Lazarus), I have been able to install and run Lazarus in ROS, but I cannot programme in pascal, so I have not tested it. I think that it doe...

I went back (without re-logging in) a page to where I had written the new report, it showed that I was logged in. I then tried to commit th...
