Re: The Future of Wine and Windows XP mode

And just because I know your going to say it, "But Ros uses less ram" My VM install of XP only uses 54Mb of ram... I can be done as most here already know.

Re: The Future of Wine and Windows XP mode

Sigh... I'm going to waste a few minutes explaining this in a rational manor :x . First off I want to explain why running apps in a virtual pc is at a disadvantage to running them in WINE. 1. It requires you to install a Guest NT OS (win / ros) 2. It requires you to allocate a CPU and RAM. (Produces...

Re: We need to better use Social Media in ROS

Yes there is indeed another site in the works that utilizes a very simplistic approach, and focuses heavily on great CSS. Its been an on going project for at least a year, and having been granted access to the new CMS I have to say its a vast improvement. As it was said we really need more viral mar...

Re: We need to better use Social Media in ROS

Severally valued points, but I'm wondering if you could clarify your cause for opposition. As a web designer, I'd gladly takeup the cause. It would only require minor edits to the site.

We need to better use Social Media in ROS

I've seen that several people have created ROS pages on Facebook, but the project would really benefit if we could extend our use of social media to bring more awareness of the project to the general population. 1. Social Icons on Home Page "Join us on (Facebook / Twitter)" 2. Auto Tweets for ROS Ne...

Re: idea: what about more coordinate testing ?

I applod the efforts being taken on be half of the RoS team. Coordinated Testing is something I've been hoping would be implemented and I feel that we are finally at a point where RoS is stable enough for anyone with VMWare to help out in testing new builds. Keep up the great work..!

I cant even get Project64 to launch... I'm afraid it might be something on my end as no error is posted. I have to check the Debug log more toughly.

Re: Reactos article on makeuseof.com

 The closest comment having any commonality had to do with LUK... Other than that its turned into a "Linux is the best" rant... This is all I have to say to linux users... Yes I like Ubuntu but for those of us that want an OS we can actually use, I'll just stick with OSX and Win7/RoS. Great a...

Re: Support Microsoft software

There is no real longterm benefit in supporting 16bit apps other than legacy compatibility. If it was me I'd focus on 64bit apps and better multicore management. Yes 16bit would be nice to have but I don't see it as vital. What worries me more is the progress of the RoS ARM port. Nvidia is in the mo...

Re: Latest Arwinss ISO's

I'm not a troll so I'll keep it short. Thanks for stabbing me in the back for simply trying to help. Why encourage user participation when all you developers want to do is make RoS your own little closed project. With that I with draw my support and wish the best of luck to the Ros team this is a gr...

Re: Latest Arwinss ISO's

I just wanted to let you know that I've setup a little page to help pay for the Hosting and Domain costs for Arwinss.com which I am currently managing for the project. If any of you could take the time to contribute a few cents we will be able to register the site through 2015. Please do what you ca...

Re: Bugs in Reactos - some statistics

We will often see a run up in bug fixes leading up to a release, especially when trunk is locked. it seems though that this time around an outstanding amount of work has been done in a relatively short amount of time. It's a strong testament to the strength of the project moving forward, and a neede...

Angry at for Hawking for discrediting the big crunch theory

I've been working on the math for the Big Crunch for almost five year and this man who I'm beginning to believe has lost him mind to self justification and arrogance simply choices to discredit the possibility. I text my simple minded friend and the fucker instead of calming my anger just respond in...
