Re: Net Neutrality - New Bill This Morning!

I believe that we need some form of Net Neutrality, but I'd rather it be made by someone that actually know something about the internet. If all information should be available and free, why shouldn't ones ability to reach that information. The day I have to pay more to have faster Youtube, is the d...

Net Neutrality - New Bill This Morning!

The new rules, proposed this morning by Chairman Julius Genachowski, would prohibit discrimination among applications and users on the nation's telecommunications, wireless, and cable Internet services. A related proposal would require carriers to make their network management practices public. Gena...

Re: Money for ReactOS

I'm sorry Jeti but I have to write you off as a deranged mad man, with no clue as to the purpose or goals of ReactOS. RoS was created to provide a free, and open source alternative to Windows. The arbitrary act of charging for each release, not to mention an Alpha would be an insult to any end user ...

Re: REACTOS PSP

I'm aware, but Arm it the closest thing I'll be able to match it with, believe me if I could compile it in arm all I would need is a way of emulating the system clock.

Re: Reactos on xbox 1 ?

At the moment the ability to install RoS on an Xbox is broken due in part to the way RoS handles memory in newer builds. If you would like you can submit a patch to address the problem. I know without doubt that developers will not focus on this area unless it somehow affects general computing on de...

Re: Question of project update

Jeremyk while I support your Idea, I have to say it most likely wont happen until we reach beta. If you've been following the project you will see that comitmits seem to be bassed more on what is seen as needed addition at the time, and its up to individuals to focus their tallents where they feel i...

Re: Inspirational UI Artwork

Lets not compare Reactos to other Systems. As soon as we start pointing out that something is better, we will have reached the point at which one stops trying to improve on an idea and just starts copying everyone else's ideas. I'm sure that once RoS is out of beta we will have a wonderfully present...

Re: News Letter Update

Z98 I by no means intended to pester you, I was just wondering what the status was as your writings offer a degree of hope to members of this community including myself. I am in no way equipped to keep up to-date with all the happenings and every commitment. I understand that life can be time consum...

News Letter Update

News Letter Is there any chance that we might get a news letter out before the end of september, in some cases bad news isn't always as bad as not updating supports. I know thinks have been slow, but lets at least give people something to bit on as it been almost two months sine we have released an...

Re: REACTOS PSP

Update, So I have a working build for the slim but it took 30min to boot to the desktop after a 3 hour install. At the moment this is both inpractical as well as useless because when ran on a Phat the memory was overly limited and the system will not run without a catch which will just destroy SD ca...

Re: REACTOS PSP

How about this, I'll put this one to bed because it's never really been solved. I will assemble the latest reactos build in bochs. there will be one build that uses 20mb of ram on the Phat and one that uses 52mb of ram for the slim. in addition ReactX will be disabled, and I'll attempt to create a L...

Re: New Compatibility Database

To tell you the truth I see a great deal of usefulness in helping the project in directing its self moving forward. I personal will test every app I can on every weekly build. I'd do it daily but I've got website to build.

How does AVG run I all I really want to know though.
