lol... Is this a joke of some sort? I have Vista and ReactOS running fine on VirtualBox (though the network drivers for virtual box do not work on ReactOS so as said no networking) along with all of my really old VMWare virtual machines. That being said, i still like VMware for a few of its features...

First off, React OS does have services. Second off, I could've sworn running a program that used hooking. Could be wrong. Anyways, I don't know how hard implementing hooking or injections could be, but they should be high priority.

Hmm? I hadn't had that problem recently. I'll test again.

Yes, Project64 is THE Nintendo 64 emulator when it comes to Windows. Very compatible, very fast, and has some nice features. BTW, If you have an SB16, you can already use audio via a slight -hack- if you must... But currently, as i suspect others know, there is no audio driver architecture support. ...

Interested! I'm using a PCI Express slot for my graphics. Could that be causing me to have the same problem? Sure, your probably using on-board, but AGP is the only thing i know ReactOS works with, and I'd be interested to here if PCIe and certain on-board chips are being effected from the same prob...

That would require frame removal. Apparently nobody supports that capture screen function, or aren't noticing it.

I know people are afraid it will lose support, but it won't. Do you seriously think people from the US are afraid to download NoCSS? And i don't see too many of my friends quiting torrents any time soon. So, as much as banning ROS would be an outrage to us of the United States, It probably wouldn't ...

Whatever, I tested WGA on wine for the hell of it (I actually didn't want the file, so i didn't download it) and it worked.(The key generator produced a code that could be used to download WGA files) Same applies to certain compatibility modes. To be honest, Microsoft really needs to fix WGA in orde...

Nice catch, to be honest i didn't notice. This is true for quite some amounts of MS software, not just .NET. So its possible that its legal as many other projects take advantage of the fact a license being available is enough.

Cool idea: Optional kernel virus scanner. Perhaps ClamAV could eventually become the core of it (when it works anyways) Anyways... ReactOS will eventually run a lot of spyware and viruses. Security and a well designed user management system should keep most out. Note that viruses which depend on fla...

Well, I'll bet FreeASM isn't used yet.

Anyways, i decided to check the homepage, and i happen to notice all mentioning of React OS is gone, besides on the OS support list. The program still contains reference however.

Yeah, that is a scary license to have at a cooperation, even if it does have a Open Source reputation. Regardless, I'm pretty sure its legal to fork off the code into any license. So forking it off to GNU GPL should be legal and easily possible. Either way, glad to hear that DotGNU is good even if i...

Oh, ok. That actually makes some sense. Well, either way, Windows Assembly and ReactOS assembly are the same thing - I guess programs that are written for an OS should have to be forced to make notice that the code is unrelated to the OS if the authors think its nessesary - But you don't see WinZip ...

Good to see that React OS is getting more support these days. Just asking but uhh, Was that in VmWare Workstation, Qemu, VirtualBox, (your favorite VMs here) or native? If it was native, how did you record it? I would suspect if it was native you had some sort of output that you could record externa...
