The downloader in the apps manager can get stuck downloading the installer, a cancel and retry will work. Dot Net 2.0 takes a long time to load the installer like 5 minutes. And then upon selecting install, many console windows open and close. (This does not happen on Windows) Finally one of the con...

Re: Windows Picture & Fax Viewer Clone

The people that want to compile it them self's want it as C or C++ or some other free compiler.
The people that want a fax image viewer, want it to look like the Microsoft one, work like the Microsoft one, but with out that bug that shows half your images as a line down the middle of the viewer.

0.4 says

Re: Implemented or Not

Test implemented code = all programs work properly randomly running complete apps = some work, other get strange bugs There is not much point trying to randomly test completed programs, that you don't even know what functions and methods they use. Its about testing the implemented code for correctne...

ExFAT

Are we allowed to implement Microsoft's new file system. Is it possible to add this files system? Is it worth looking into? The exFAT system offers the following advantages: * Enables the file system to handle growing capacities in media, increasing capacity to 32 GB and larger. * Handles more than ...

Implemented or Not

This would be useful to run tests, instead of blindly testing a compiled program. People could make programs, by checking against the list, and then test the output.

For the .NET functionalities that cannot be cloned directly in Mono, there are/will be alternative functions in the mono namespace, so at least all code can be adapted to run on mono with minimal effort by the programmers. So when the industry starts supporting and implementing mono, you can expect...

Obviously you people have not tried to run a Dot Net program under mono
They just don't run.

As to the Dot Net 2.0 installer, it gets as far as the I Agree screen, and just plain closes. 3.5 does not even get that far.

OS-Tans are not mascots, they are the OS's personality, as a cute character. 1. You can not use copyright content. 2. The character must be cute. 3. There can be both male and female versions. 4. Original OS-Tans are all human type, some people have tried to pass off Mascots as an OS Tan, or modify ...

I am sure that there is no 64 bit 3DS MAX, so far. There has been a 64 bit version of 3DS MAX for a long time, I have used it, and its way faster than the 32 bit version, but the problem is, the math on 64 bit is more accurate, and thus you should not network render with 32 and 64 bit machines runn...
