I would go further a documentation group (not just to discuss, but also to make tutorials for ReactOS users).

I my humble opinion, a port is quite diferent to a subsystem. ReactOS "may" run on an Xbox, but it does not means it has or will have the special API of the Xbox kernel, so untill that API is implemented the Xbox games wont run in reactos even if reactos runs in Xbox.

Quite complicate, isnt it?

You should try another SVN build, in fact i did one on thursday or friday (built it from sources) and it is quite faster than it used to be, in fact, it runs almost as fast as XP. I am in a 1400 MHz intel PEntium IV... so there is not such a huge diference.

Try another build, and tell us.

I believe Reactos should use the same "script" language as windows, i mean the .bat one. If it needs more power, then we can just add functionality based on the original one.

That aproach makes it more familiar to windows and ex-dos users.

It still crashes a lot, specially the 0.2.4 version was quite unstable for a final release, but remember it is alpha, the next release 0.2.5 probably will be quite more stable as some memory bugs have been fixed. Also you can get a ReactOS howto and several ways to install it at: http://reactos.no-i...

Try Amaya, it already worked with some bugs in 0.2.4 and it is VERY compliant with w3c (in fact is their browser).

I wish reactOS 0.3 will come with Firefox or Amaya (or any other browser they manage to make work). If it have Internet it will need a browser.
