from look at latest builds the 0.3.14 is looking to be a lot more usable then 0.3.13 in that its almost stable enough to use as a web browser os (improve the stability so os can stay running longer and it would probably be pretty close to the Google chrome os from web browsing perspective) the 2 big...

running firefox latest nightlys stable

a stable and improved network stack

and printer support

and 64 bit version to use my computers ram (and overall more stable so as to be able to run reactos without having to reboot except for updates)

the first 3 are most important

even desktops will become touch capable in time i dont think it will replace the keyboard and mouse fully but will become part of it the closest thing in past to describe it would probably be the move from msdos to explorer even today you can operate windows 7 using only your keyboard if you know ho...

of all the windows releases i think in terms of looks and feels its closer to windows 2000 professional then it is the earliest nt builds (almost same ram and hard disk requirments also )

well the way i understand it is Firefox nightly which is version 7.0 right now can get new fetures etc landed but later on that version is transfered to aurora and is renamed 7.0a2 then at this point if there is any code that causes major issues that cant be stabilied/fixed (also at this stage when ...

maybe instead of the release being every 6 weeks make it every 8 and instead of jumping whole version number jump by smaller increments like .0.1 per release

windows xp will outlive vista

windows vista support on non bussnuss editions ends april 2012 (bussnus edition extended support ends 2017)

theres also a chance windows xp support gets extended id find it vary ironic if they extended xp support to pass 2017

well baring a new filesystem from microsoft i think we will need ntfs support soonor or later


(speaking of which windows 8 i hear may contain new filesystem i know they hired ppl to work on one)
