Re: Greek translation

You sure wrote a lot guys heh, So let me get this straight, when you say manual translation what does this involves? I hope you don't mean looking at each webpage source and translate through the chaos, that would be plain madness  If that's not the case(hopefully), how's the new system work? (...

Re: Greek translation

That wasn't aimed at you. Read up higher for my response to you. As far as menu translation goes, the translators buggered that up pretty badly and at this point no new menu translations are happening until it gets cleaned up. For translating main page content, you have to remember that they are ac...

Re: Greek translation

Again, I see NO draft texts from you. If you did create one, you did not set it to a review state. If it's not set in a review state, I do not see it. Last time I've translated something was at least 3 years ago but I did save the drafts, I don't remember a review state though. There was a greek fe...

Re: Greek translation

Hi crackez! Who did you send emails? For sure I didnt receive any from you. Since one year ago we are using a new Drupal website, so inactive translators at that time has lost his access. If you want to translate, you've to request access again (we moved from our own CMS to Drupal and a counterback...

Greek translation

Hi there guys, In the past I've tried to translate the website, while I had translators access(I went to the irc channel many years ago and someone gave me access although some other guy was a bit mad about it --don't remember nicks it's been more than 3years ago) I couldn't make content available a...

Re: Greek Translation Pending..many days* now[*EDIT: Months

There is a developer with that nick and the message is meant for him ;) This ain't happening. Post went up on May, we have Sep ..so no 'movement' at all, there was pleanty of time for someone to care about this, so probably this is waste of time and not worth it. From me it was a waste of time for ...

Re: What about IBM as a sponsor for ROS ?

Hm..why be so strict ? We don't know how IBM reacts if they here about ROS - EVEN it DOESN'T fit to their programme ? Think of the point, that with ROS IBM can bother Google, MS, Apple, etc.... I agree, we should ask IBM and if they turn this down ..its ok but if they want to sponsor ROS then its a...

Re: Greek Translation Pending ..many days now

@EmuandCo I'm really wondering why I have the tittle and rights of translator :o So if John(or Giannis in Greek if you prefer) don't come for 1 year the translation is useless, we probably need more trusty Greek speaking people so we know whats going on and don't have to rely on one and only person....

Re: Greek Translation Pending ..many days now

My Greek translation is still on pending from 18 of May, almost two months of nothing.. I want to give a big thanks to all the replies and especially to EmuandCo for at least replying me regularly unlike others. P.S. A mod can delete the post, I won't bother anymore. Two months is a more than ...

Re: Greek Translation Pending ..many days now

I know that the translation of a language to another EmuandCo can be "weird". Of course some of the ROS webpages I translated is not translated in word by word translation but by the meaning that they want to pass I mean some stuff in one language if there are tranlated word by word they don't make ...
