Re: NTFS - R65317

Yup. The duplicated entries seems to be a bug in the short vs long form name handling. Heiss knows about the issue.
NTFS is greenish and well, we can just expect a basic minimum until Heiss strikes again with some patches. :)

Re: No Way to run LIVE ISO

Hi!
Iirc, the Live iso is created to be run in a CD but not in an USB.
So probably that's the issue.

I smell 0.3.17 release pretty soon...

Do you smell it?
It is not coffee, nor the grass smell in a rainy day...
Seems bits and bytes are joining together to release 0.3.17 really soon.

Btw, regarding NTFS, you can't miss ReactOS Twitter. From time to time Heisspiter is sharing some pics there and we RT them.

Re: Number pad support?

Yeah. The only way to have your HW fixed(sooner or later) is to report to the Jira.
Not just this Number Pad case, but also all of those having issues with SATA support or errors booting. Up to now, dozen of bugs have been fixed in Uniata thanks to Alter(the dev) but also because your reports ;)

Re: About ReactOS 0.4

Yeah, I meant it. But due to service pack level, we can't run any Office 2010 app because while our level is W2K3 SP1, Office 2010 requires SP2. Any solutions for this? Easy: Faking it to show ourselves as SP2 when the installer is being executed. Installer just does a "let's check if they have SP2...

Re: Kind of sad...

Yeah, this is just a "Release note" that should have been released one month ago really ;) however it kept in our ToDo list. This is more like a "Ey guys!We hired thanks to your donations a Dev and look how wonderful changes are happening" (he is working in Java, MM, and AFD issues among others). Ho...

Re: 0.3.17 testing

Z98, I hope you do not imagine that, as testers, we're only allowed to test what you dictate to test us. As another poster already indicated, a 'release candidate' should be exactly that: a candidate for release. As such, while it is understandable you want to see the most important applications be...
