Currently I end the explorer process and restart it using the runas /user:admin, this way I dont have to the whole log on log off thing.

But I would prefer one click change to admin. :), yes you would have to type in your password first, but only once.

what's hidden?
open up an explorer window, go to folder options ->
view, "Launch folder windows in a seperate process"

The one reason I want them seperated is so I can run the shell with basic user rights and run one window with admin...

And ROS is an OS not a kernel, so it will come with the essential software
I guess we vary by the "essential software"..
