Broken link from the "forum" to "ReactOS Comm

The link at the top of the forum pages saying "ReactOS Community" points incorrectly to http://www.reactos.org/xhtml/en/community.html , while it should point to http://www.reactos.org/?page=community I guess.

Moving forward RoS

It seems that recently there have been some number of threads appearing about features/future/suckness/etc. of RoS. So I would like to ask the developers (or any other person close to them) how can a layman (user) help? I mainly think about testing the builds (on real hardware) or with particular so...

An other voice with Z98 and Radhad. Alphas are meant to be buggy and unstable. But also implement more and more features.:!: :P The developers promised a 2 month release schedule, so as long as they manage to make a bootable version each time it is fine.

It seems that both articles would fit nicely on the http://www.reactos.org/en/about_press_articles.html page. May be cppm and FlyingIsFun1217 can send both articles to Klemens Friedl (frik85) ?

And the Dvorak keyboard is named after a composer, who played keyboards extremely well   btw, he says that it is in his "inside track" column, but I could not find it on the page: http://www.pcmag.com/category2/0,2806,1103,00.asp or anywhere else on the Internet. Have somebody read the a...

Well, I think business takeup will cause much more dev acceleration Microsoft license cost are .... high. I'm sure many many companies are looking for alternatives, but the need to run Windows based apps (both server and client) keeps them locked in. Business or institutional backing would be great...

I agree with Apal. ROS is fun, and even if so far I have not managed to run any of the applications I use with it (but I tested only live CDs on real hardware  ), it is not the case for others so it is useful. As soon as there will be a partially stable kernel people will create distributio...

Thank you to Daemon and SpoonmAn for clarification about USB stack in ros. I guess that settles things for now on macs, since none of them have PS/2 connectors. Thank you to elhoir for pointing to the developer's builds of LiveCD, I was not aware that it existed. Will try to boot it just for fun, bu...

A small update: I tried with an external keyboard and mouse attached and it booted up to the user interface. :D But unfortunately neither the keyboard (MS natural 4000) nor mouse (mac mighty mouse) allowed me to interact with the os. The cursor was stuck in the middle and even ctrl-alt-del did not w...

ReactOS 0.3.4 on MacBook 3.1 (intel)

Just for fun, I tried to boot a Live CD in this intel Mac. And here is the results: The os boots  up to the <del>screen where it detects the drivers</del> user interface ( see update below ). So the GUI subsystem seems to work :!: It would not go any further, probably because of the very prop...

An other vote for clean lean bare bone OS. Downloaded live CD v0.3.3 yesterday. What a pleasure! 20 MiB file, 80MiB image. Tested on a real hardware (Athlon750/640MiB RAM). Boots faster than native ME, even from CD-RW. Could no launch any apps though, but hey, it's an alpha . ReactOS is primarily a ...
