u need winrar lates version or 7-zip.org to unpack them and they work for me It STILL doesn't for me. I have version 4.57 as well, so see the below picture. http://img134.imageshack.us/img134/1484/cannotopen7zcv3.th.jpg I don't like debug versions of things, so I won't switch to use the debug liveCD.

There's little interest amongst the current developers of implementing a 3D desktop. It'd have to be a third party project, and not likely one to even be included for that matter. I didn't say anything about that "cube" thing. More or less, the window effects (IE: Minimize animations, closing anima...

So, it means I was right. Since the trunk is usually what will be included in the next update. (At least that's how it went with SVN over at OvBB.)

How abou'... WinStix? Just a suggestion there. Anyway, I have to agree on your views for that too. Better leave...

*sighs* I guess so, but it would be nice to have a Windows XP version. Not that anyone has made one yet.

I prefer to view this as with WinFX, we don't need Compiz. Though why you're drawing that comparison i don't know. We don't really need it, though if you are planning to have support for all Win32 apps, then WinFX will be one of those (Same with Uber Icon, RocketDock, RKLauncher, Optimizer XP, etc....

I don't think it comes for Win32 though, so it's not a possibility. Like I said, I'd love it if they made a win32 compatible version (IE: For WinXP.) That way, we wouldn't need WindowsFX, which sucks.

compiz?

Will there be support for compiz-fusion in the future? Or will reactOS need its own package for that? I know I'd love a windows version of it.
