I do all of what you suggested I did once reinstall and then get all the updates in as soon as i had all the updates the system sloweed down at start up, i use msconfig.exe and remove all i can i won't let any system tray crap run thats not needed I am afraid its just a case that microsoft are not t...

I install it and its fine until.... what for it..... the updates come ! now i know i must have the updates because security is crap as it stands but they immediately cause startup times to be longer, i don't test that many programs as i know what i need and i endeavour to keep all uneeded things dis...

I don't think it would be particularly tasteful to have an offensive slogan, especially one targeted at an individual person (not to mention one which will be unaffected by ReactOS now anyway...) I know I was just outputting my frustration at the need for yet another reinstalation of windows..... b...

problem is with different oses
I think sometime soon I will need to revert it,
can I put half a disk as a raid0 and use the other half as a normal partition ?

I see actually I am considering giving it up. if i run linux and open a program that looks at the HDDs the the raid goes offline when I reboot I have to completely switch off and the reboot and then the raid works again but I must remove power completely before rebooting

well there is "a" intel raid controller listed in the compatibility list (but it was not tested so don't know how it was desclared compatible I'm new to all this) but its not mine, my computer would not boot with the live CD it came up with the first screen and a little list of what it fou...

intel matrix raid

how will reactos cope with the intel matrix raid ? linux (ubuntu) could not read it will reactos see it have problems or just ignore it ? will it mess it up I'm thinking of running the live cd and possibly installing in a seperate partition

thats the reason why windows is so bad... a big patch up of hotfixes and second hand solutions give it time they will fix it

a little bug in mycomputer

I had this with this and the previous version. if I go into "my computer" and open a drive (that opens a new window) when I close it again I am left with a grey rectangle where the windows was. only solution is to close "my computer" I have an Intel C2D E6300 asus P5GZ-MX mainboa...
