Re: main website and JIRA credential syncing...
Shortly before (well a while now, I failed to submit) this post I was able to login to JIRA successfully. So, I think before, I _may_ have requested a password reset from the _forum_, which sent me an actual hex character password. Wherever I requested it from, the password would work to login to th...

Re: main website and JIRA credential syncing...
@oldman - I don't seem to have any 'auto' login enabled, at least when I go from logged in reactos.org to JIRA I am not logged in there. I decided to try reset again - I _may_ have done it from the forum website before, as I was _sent_ a password... In reviewing old emails, I noticed a difference fr...

Re: main website and JIRA credential syncing...
Well, I've sent a message as you suggested but no reply yet. Meanwhile, I had an idea - maybe the system generated password didn't trigger an update... So, I decided to try to change my password manually (from the one generated by system request to reset password). Only, the main website is telling ...

Re: main website and JIRA credential syncing...
It's now been about 18 days, and,
while I can login to the forum just fine with the new password,
I *still can't login to JIRA* (with that new password, and still haven't remembered the old one.)
Any ideas/suggestions of what to do now?
Thanks.

main website and JIRA credential syncing...
How often/when are main website and JIRA credentials synchronized?
I 'lost' password and reset, am able to logon to website (using new password now),
but JIRA still doesn't let me log on (less than 24 hours since reset occurred, probably more than 12 hours.)
Thanks.

Re: USB drivers
The server (vga.16mb.com) hosting those links seems down, not sure if thats temporary or not.
Are these changes available elsewhere for review?
(Yes I know thread is old, but appears vgal is still around.)

(usb) boot process, SystemRoot, vbemp.sys 0xc000003a !found
Attempting usb boot from cd drive of locally built r73488 livecd, logging to screen. Part of debug output indicates ZwOpenFile failure for \SystemRoot\system32\drivers\vbemp.sys with status 0xc000003a at sysldr.c:3025 (which is STATUS_OBJECT_PATH_NOT_FOUND). vbemp.sys is to be found on the disk when...

Re: USB Boot Fixed
Well, I am paraphrasing more specifically. Is it possible to boot officially (not modified) Windows 2003 (or XP) from USB? If not, then it will not be a standard feature. And for this special will have to make changes in the kernel RoS. Well, that defender version is microsoft provided, and the boo...

Re: USB Boot Fixed
ReactOS - Windows-compatible operating system. Is it possible to boot Windows from USB? Yes, although it is probably not for us mere mortals. I have installed an 'off-line' version of windows defender to flash drive in the past and used it to check suspect systems by booting completely from the fla...

Re: what is status, networking support, various lwip efforts
Also, anyone who knows, why was zhu48's GSOc 2016 effort apparently started from scratch rather than based on the network_stack effort...?
Thanks.
Thanks.

what is status, networking support, various lwip efforts
There was a GSoC 2016 effort to work on integrating lwIP into ReactOS. It appears there may have been previous efforts to do this as well (although I did not find branches/submissions/blogs/whatever related to them, just hints they may have occurred.) There is a branch network_stack, which apparentl...

I'm sorry my previous post was apparently not completely clear. After I hid my existing mingw implementation (by moving mingw and msys folders out of my root directory), a build succeeded (although I did post before it had completed, but after it had passed the previous point of failure. (The errors...

initially, no change. But before I posted this I had an idea - I already had a mingw installation. Hiding this installation seems to have avoided the problem. It hasn't finished building yet, but its gotten beyond the point indicated below. I don't think that installation is in my path by default, s...

RosBE-0.3.1.exe, reactos0.3.0-REL-src.zip don't mix?
Downloaded the above items, attempted to follow the instructions trying to do a mingw32-make all, and do not get clean builds from either the gcc 4.1.2 or the gcc 3.4.5 build environment prompts (errors different between the two different versions.) I wound up with "No rule to make target makef...
