I am not able to do anything it will freeze even if I tell it not to install the driver is there a way to tell the system to unfreeze? or a comand line to enter at boot up to not allow device driver installation?

I can install the os fine but when I get to the find device drivers window it will freeze how to bypass this? I am running a asus p4p800 e deluxe motherboard and a 2.6 ghz processor with 1 gig of pc 3700 memory and a westerndigital 17 gig hardrive. Help!
