Re: UNC Connection from ReactOS -> Share
For the record, net use is properly implemented, given there are network providers registered. So far, the only network providers I could test in ReactOS are: VBox shares, VMware shares and NFS. The later looks the most to what you're looking for: remote shares. Even though, they are not 100% perfec...

Re: Only 1 student this year?
I often read on boards people having strong opinions about file systems situation in ReactOS. About current situation, about ideal situation, about future situation. So, let me try to clarify once for all current file systems situation, current goals, what are the under going works. In short: WHY is...

Re: NTFS partially working?! USB only??
Reziac, I would be interested by any debug log you can provide me from ReactOS boot to your attempt to access your second partition (NTFS one).
Is it at least mounted (ie, drive letter assigned)?

Re: Proposals for REALLY pushing this project forward
Out of curiosity, how much would a contract cost for getting the new CC done (and installing to ext2 works)? That seems like it would be the main thing to make the system run far more stably. I'm not sure where you got such information, but our current Cc allows ext2 and ext3 working smoothly in Re...

Check whether you're trying to update over HTTP. If so, move to HTTPS.

Re: 0x0000007B
Nope, nope. If Windows cannot find the boot device, it will raise an IO1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED BSOD (0x69) (which is even pretty famous on ReactOS). This is not to be confused with INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (0x7B) which is actually quite explicit: Windows knows where to boot from but cannot access th...
