Re: Which your favorite programming language??

I use to be real big into C/C++, but after spending the last 3 year professionally working in Java I have come to really like it. With modern day IDEs you can create apps very rapidly in Java ( as with most languages now), and it is cross platform (without recompiling in most cases). Also Android ap...

Re: MB Portability, Customizations, The Core

Your favourite OS Linux has security updates as well. While I got around 4 security updates for Vista during last month, there have been 20-30 for Ubuntu only last week . Not counting Defender database updates and content/feature updates. Most of the updates that come down the pipe from Ubutnu Upda...

nzsmostwanted your best bet would be to get an external modem. I use to have the same problem and there is not really a good linux distro that is free that allows you to use a winmodem. there are a few that you can pay for that will work with your winmodem (linspire, Xandros, and a few others). I have been fallowing this project for about 2 years and I must say that it has astounded me just how much has been done in just 2 short years. I am very hopeful and optimistic about this project! I for one can not wait until it reaches beta stage and is ready for everyday use. I for one have been a...

I think this great. It would help to decluder the screen and still give you access to everything you need. I also feel the tabs should be at the bottom of the start menu. I really like the way KDE/suse revamped the KDE kickoff menu.
