Microsoft has develloped a very popular, good and stable PC-Emulator Nope. it's not Microsoft who developed it in the first place, but Connectix and MS just bought it and hired the old team. I was going to point this out, yet navaraf did it first. And as far as I can tell, they have not done a whol...

Then they are sent to a storage bin. After several hours of cooling, the drivers are moved by fork lift to the shipp...

And should the project become a viable total replacement to windows can you see microsoft standing by and not protecting it's intelectual property? From what I have read, they seem to be guarding against that already. And as long as React does not infringe on MS's intellectual property, MS will not...

ReactOS does not see Virual RAM or Virtual HDD. It sees a X86 PC Platform. What I meant was 'real' virtual memory. ( ) As in the type written to the hard drive when main memory is full. Which in this case would be virtual virtual memory, which was suppose to be a kind of a joke. The unfunny...

very well implemented Cache Manager. Hopefully it will be implemented in 0.31 (It's already almost complete) I look forward to the updates. Cache Manager? Would that relate to virtual memory? Excuse my ignorance. (virtual memory on a virtual hard drive running on a virtual machine - that's a lot of...

The vmWare player was a pain.. so I went back to Virtual PC to play around with ROS some. Everything already installed seems to work. CD ROM works also. I did notice on the explorer windows that the browse arrows didn't work and that sometimes when the window tries to redraw itself, it blanks and/or...

Humpht... :( Had issues with the VMware player. It is suppose to translate virtual PC virtual drives into vmware virtual drives, but only worked with the XP virtual drive. A quick google shows others have the same problem. So long story short, I was unable to test ROS on vmware. And again for emphas...
