That's what I figured but I had to ask before I started packaging stuff myself.
Thanks

RAPPS pre & post installation scripting
I've searched through the forum for something like this but I can't find anything. I've spent some time this week searching for applications I would like to see included in the applications manager which means lots of downloading and testing. I specifically look for applications that are open source...

Re: 0.4.9 needs 8MB video buffer on Dell Optiplex GX270

Re: 0.4.9 needs 8MB video buffer on Dell Optiplex GX270
hi ctasan,
I tried your suggestion and entered VGA mode for the second part if the install.
unfortunately it hung in a similar fashion only this time there was no debug console. I'm going to try and generate a backtrace and
add it to the bug report.

Re: Real hardware 0.4.9
That would be nice if they had time to work on this bug. I searched around but I really couldn't find anything described like this problem. I was able to get a BSoD when trying to boot ReactOS in VirtualBox with display memory below 5 MB. I filed two bug reports. https://jira.reactos.org/browse/CORE...

Re: Real hardware 0.4.9
I want to add that with the video buffer set to 1 MB in the BIOS I can run Ubuntu 18.04 32bit version and I can install and run Windows XP Professional with SP2. I don't know if there is a minimum requirement for the video buffer but this behaviour might qualify as a bug if it's supposed to behave l...

Re: Real hardware 0.4.9
This thread got me interested in trying ReactOS on real hardware, good to see it's installing on other computers. I was planning on throwing away two older computers I've had collecting dust for some time when I thought "hey, maybe I can do some ReactOS testing". For testing I used: ReactO...

Re: How to install Java 8
I was able to Download and use JDK 8u192 Early Access build from http://jdk.java.net/8/ I believe this is the OpenJDK binary for Windows provided by Oracle. I was redirected here when searching for a Windows OpenJDK binary http://openjdk.java.net/ There is no installer so you have to place the folde...
