In other words: yes.
If you're using a router, or your modem doubles as a router, then you are probably running a dhcp server.

The best part is it uses a simple API called FUSE to talk to the kernel. All the FreeBSD people had to do is implement FUSE and now this new NTFS driver (I've heard) is working on FreeBSD too.
Sounds like it shouldn't be too hard to port this to ReactOS...

WINE already has theming support. Some things (like the menus in WINE's regedit) get really slow when you enable a theme, but it mostly works. ROS just needs a UI to expose that functionality, right? I think the real lesson here is that everybody has diferent tastes, and they're not going to satisfy...

well, i found something else that relys on wine and reactos components, but i dont think reactos uses it: http://www.jankratochvil.net/project/captive/ No. Captive takes the NTFS driver from Windows, and wraps it in kindof an emulator so Linux can use it. It's a lot like an open source version of t...

No one is saying it could prevent that. Currently you can choose between running as a limited user and having many of your apps not work. Permission denied error messages getting in your way all the time. Or you can choose to run as admin and worry about which apps are abusing admin privileges. Both...

I went to mozilla.com and downloaded the firefox installer (using the web browser that ReactOS came with). The Firefox installer seemed to work fine until the progress bar got to 100% - that's when the window just disappeared. There was no error message. I tried running "c:\program files\mozill...

Cloning NT/2000 isn't so bad, it will avoid the security pitfalls of 9x/Me. They could do what MS is doing with Longhorn, and make more of the apps run in reduced privileges mode, etc. It would be awesome if they could make it so that you don't have to run as Administrator on ReactOS, I mean make it...

Re: luna look and feel.
I agree, but somebody (network administrator of a huge German company) told me that after working 8 hours on a PC, you will start to like the luna theme, because it's not only eyecandy, but it is more eye friendly for long time pc workers. I totally agree on that. In the beginning I didn't like Lun...
