d3drocks: ever heard about wear leveling? consumer quality SSDs have been out for past 3 years and i used them with no problems with what you describe. a Typical ssd will most likely outlast a ordinary HDD, unless you want to trash it with read/write operations on purpose, not to mention they are mo...

btw, adding this driver to reactos driver DB would be very useful to anyone using webcams through tv tuners and tv tuners in general: http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/ - it is a free opensource bt878 capture card driver.

excuse me, but can reactos make an offical statement to keep linux similarities out of it? sure you would get a lot of linux fans with linux-like abilities, but you should have to develop linux reactos tools separately from ROS.

Don't believe all that Microsoft says...

don't believe anything that they say, it will be only slower, parsing xml is not easy and lightspeed work for a program.

Re: words to developers (NT pnp internals, tops and a questi

I usually define it as closed source. Yes it's close source but It's documented and as far as I can tell not patented. I was searching about this in Google, and I've read that "the LZX format was purchased by Microsoft, slightly reduced in potency, and used in the CAB format". But nothing...

i think ROS should be windows compatible, any hacks to do with
drive letters that aren't in windows are redounant and unneccesary
because ros has a target which is to be windows compatible.

plus like 99% of programs cannot parse UNC paths properly, so
drive letters are still in heavy use.
