Ok, I've got it running now.
I missed this part of the wiki:
Go to 'System', and make sure that 'Enable I/O APIC' is unchecked

So I unchecked that option. The first time it booted with the same results, but now it's working after reinstalling the OS anew.

you're also supposed to tell Virtualbox that it's Windows 2003. It's almost the same result with Windows 2003, but the mouse cursor doesn't show up. Try SATA. A log file would be nice. I switched the storage controller to SATA with the same results. Here is the serial output dump: (ntoskrnl/kd/kdio...

I'm running Oracle VM VirtualBox 4.3.36 on Debian Jessie.

Empty desktop

Hello,
I just installed ReactOS 0.4.3 from the BootCD on a virtual machine, everything went smoothly, but when it boots to desktop there are no icons or task bar. I can move the mouse around but not much else.
