Re: Congratulations.

Still I was a surprise to read: ...Marat [Karatov] said that the OS was ready approximately for 80% of real world usage..." Really? That doesn't sound at all like what I've been hearing from this site. Who cares? Tons of products get sold before they're even started. Even Microsoft started thi...

Re: Solution for those who want 0.3.5 to be released ASAP

Hm, so what's the use of such a system?
Money before quality? Not a good evolution IMHO.
Remember you can always get the latest build from SVN...

Grtz,

See http://sourceforge.net/projects/btmgr/

This is a bootmanager you can install in the root of a floppy. It lets you choose which device you want to boot (including cdrom). Ideal when this is not supported by the bios

The way the forum looks the last few days is like a battle court. You are all grown up people. Don't get to frustrated, it's not worth ...

What I pointed is that choosing the BELGIAN keyboard layout turns ReactOS UI language into DUTCH or Flemish (I don't know which one and I don't care). Selecting a belgian keyboard on Microsoft Windows doesn't make Windows speek Dutch! I hope this will be set back to english in next release or SVN. ...

There's subtle differences in vocabulary, like "trots" is "fier" in flemish, just like "bonnet" is "hood" in american. You should be able to write an automated translator that takes such words and changes them to their flemish variant, so that when a module h...

As far as Wikipedia is concerned, there are three languages in Belgium: Dutch, French and German. Are there any differences between them? In other words: is Belgian dutch the same as in Netherlands? What about Belgian french and French one? Nope, no major differences. French and Dutch are the major...

I don't know about that. When a soldier dies, I think the US Army considers it to be a tragedy, even though the mission depends on the entire platoon. And when a soldier deserts, there's usually a great emphasis on finding and shooting/arresting him, even though he may have deserted from an entire ...

Re: SVN - Belgian keyboard - Dutch - NOT A GOOD IDEA!

Hi, I'm a belgian ReactOS user. I'm afraid that changing the ReactOS language to Dutch when choosing the belgian keyboard IS NOT A GOOD IDEA! For your information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Belgium "Belgium is linguistically divided" "This linguistic diversity often leads to polit...
