Every OS is designed for a specific purpose. It's not the best choice for all applications. Windows has always been mainly a desktop OS, making the end user experience as convenient as possible. Matthias, unless you use a framework that provides classes to access win32 apis the use of C++ in reactos is pretty much useless.
