Re: Create a Start screen?
I tried installing WinMetro from IObit. It installed, but BSOD'd after opening it. Also, I want to make a Start screen that natively works in my fork without downloading other frameworks or other files. http://cntlaltdel.weebly.com/uploads/7/2/6/9/72697373/165024754.png This is just a proof of conce...

Change Winver Text
Aloha, I know that there's a file that has the Winver information, like "ReactOS 0.4......". I can't seem to find that file. I know that there's been a massive shift in code from 0.3.16 to 0.4, so it might have gone somewhere else. Where is the file that allows me to edit the strings in th...

Change OOBE Text?
Aloha,
I am trying to look for the OOBE setup files to tinker and modify, but I can't find them. I thought they were in reactor\base\setup\reactos\, but that is for the Windows installer only. Where are the OOBE files for me to edit? Any help is appreciated.

Icons on desktop not changing!
Aloha, I went into the reactor\base\shell\explorer\res\ico\ and changed the icons in there in hopes that the changes appear on the desktop of the ReactOS desktop. To my dismay, only the Command Prompt icon changed. I either did something wrong or RosBE is being weird again. [*]I do have the original...

SDK folder? Y U NO SHOW YOURSELF?!
Aloha, I am beginning to make a "fork" of ReactOS. I began by replacing ReactOS's default icons with Windows 10-styled icons and tried to compile it. However, after configure.cmd is run and I go to ninja-build it, I get the error that the sdk folder is "no such file or directory"...

Create a Start screen?
Aloha, I know that this is a silly question and I'm going to get some flack for it, but is it possible to make a Start screen for ReactOS? How can I attempt this? If I can't make one in C, is is possible to trigger the Start button to open the Mosaic (https://mosaicproject.codeplex.com) app? Any hel...
