I worry about compatibility with windows binaries that might have code specifically looking for a FAT32 or NTFS file system.

I'd think LiteStep would work in pretty well with ReactOS, at least as a temporary/alternative shell.

Free RDP Server Development?

I'm interested in working on a free RDP server for ReactOS and windows machines where such a thing would be useful (all the ones where it's not supported 98, 2000, etc). I've googled around and tried to find some information on the topic, apparently no one has started working on a _server_ yet. Thou...

IF there was a need to use a 16-bit compiler, you'd want to use openwatcom -- the freedos community had been waiting on that for a long time to avoid using proprietary and unsupported compilers. It would be nice to get a list of ReactOS local user groups on the website to encourage people to start forming them and join them. Though, it could be there and I'm missing it. :)

I'd imagine most ReactOS fans are pretty well receive in windows user groups.

If you're in to music, you should check out audioscrobbler and join the ReactOS audioscrobbler group. :)

By the time ReactOS gets closer to version 1, I have a feeling file system software and file system popularity will have changed. So, it's probably too early to settle on things like what should be the "default" and work on more salient issues. For now, I would suggest sticking with FAT32. Then, sup...

I've been monitoring the progress of ReactOS for at least two years now, and I've only now dec...
