OK. Well I'm not 100% sure about the multi-session part, but I don't mind having a go at making it so the sessions are started from a VNC session start, etc, which should in theory be an exercise of interfacing some modules like the UltraVNC server into the session control. But it depends if ReactOS...

ReactOS Terminal Services
Has any work been done yet on ReactOS Terminal Services? Are any of the kernel processes in place yet to start to write that part of the code if it's not been started yet (Like multiple user environments as required for terminal services). It's something that really attracts me to this project and I...

Does Ext2 support permissions? If you've chosen React as your OS of choice, then it doesn't really matter what filesystem you use, as long as it's got at the minimum permissions, although auditing and stuff that NTFS has is nice. Maybe a NTFS to EXT2 filesystem converter would be more worthwhile? Bu...

Well it was only an example. Looking at it, you could make it work with 48x48 icons (I'm only saying 48x48 because that's the icons that are commonly available for programs). The idea I think works well, or it did with RiscOS. You could have about 30 windows open, and it would just be neat and tidy ...

Idea for taskbar design
Here's an idea for a design of taskbar.... Group each program together like XP can do with lots of similar windows. Do that all the time, and make it so that when you click on the icon representing the program, up pops up the little menu. When one of the program's windows flashes, that icon on the t...

Here's a little startup sound I've put together.
I'd appreciate comments. If people like my sort of schemes, then I'll make similar sounds for shutdown, error, etc, etc.

Would appreciate comments. Feel free to use it on React if you want. If it's crap, just tell me!

Why not go for simple, it's fast. Personally I loved the acorn GUI. I loved the middle-mouse button to bring up the menu. That is the best GUI I've ever seen, but nobody has ever taken it up. If you want to look for a GUI look, I think that if you looked at how the Acorn looked and worked, that may ...

Hi Jaix. I've put my ideas on the wikipage, and have looked through. UltraVNC is impressively fast compared to other VNC versions. Testing it across a dialup connection to a remote server across a path with 500ms lag is nearly as fast as local computer - more than good enough!!! I will have a play a...
