Re: ReactOS on ARM

Listen I have read at least two other arm port topics. Reactos no longer has an excuse to not run on arm. Windows 8 and 10 both support arm and with the new api's MS is making there is no reason for excuses. As 8 and ten are the first ones to have arm programs that means that compatabilty should be ...

Re: What is the future of AMD/Nvidia drivers?

They need to fix their Ethernet driver in 3.16 first as without it you won't be doing much in React OS. :x  In My opion React OS should get their own opensource drivers so their dvd can run on all the hardware unlike Windows XP. I think they should get the Graphic drivers form Haiku as Haiku w...

Re: React OS code names?

Names are also used in Rleases not just in code names. Apple names each of their "versions" and so does Mint, Ubuntu, and Even Widnows did Witth XP, Longhorn, and Vista.

Re: Freewin95

Wait if React OS is going to be XP compatable they they have to suport OS/2 3, but not warp. Not adding it could break compatability with Windows NT 3 and 4 programs.

Re: What do you think of Unix Like systems?

OSX is base off of BSD, just strip away all that crap and you will find your Keranl aka Darwin that is a modified FreeBSD Mach kernal with crap tossed in and even Apples Aqua slap on X.org, y.org, w.org, or Xfree86 and boom. So what if Linux needs the internet it has always been that way and even Li...

Re: Windows CE?

It's a locked real time OS. Its not meant to be dynamically extended with other software and drivers Not sure what you mean by that. Windows CE very much allows a third-party OEM to create a device driver for it. In fact, given that it is an embedded OS, adding new drivers without Microsoft's parti...

What happend to Reacty's games?

I read this topic on the forums that some group of programers where going to clone supertux 2 and supertux chart and make a cross platform game to help spread the word about React OS. So what happened to that project as I have seen no one talking about this topic yet on the forums?
